I chose a goal of $1,300 in honor of my brother, Ryder Wade, #13, who dreamed of becoming a therapist and one day serving as the director of A Quarter Blue. Five years after his passing, the need for this work has only grown. I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside some of AQB’s clients, and I know how deeply they need a safe and compassionate space where they can belong, be heard, and find restoration.
A Quarter Blue (AQB) began with a powerful mission: to prevent childhood sexual abuse and help survivors heal—because one in four children are impacted by this trauma. Today, as Orange County's only Trauma Recovery Center, AQB provides life-changing therapy and support to survivors of violent crimes, many of whom would otherwise go without care. Through Love Is Giving Day AQB has the opportunity to accelerate this impact—bringing hope, healing, and critical services to those who need it most. Every dollar moves us closer to restoring lives and breaking cycles of violence.
