Some of the people I have loved most lost their lives to suicide. Those losses changed me forever and shaped the way I see mental health, trauma, and the silent struggles people carry every day. Because of this I have dedicated my life to supporting mental health.
For more than 25 years, I have heard thousands of heartbreaking stories while also witnessing incredible resilience, strength, and hope in people fighting to heal and survive while facing unimaginable barriers. This is why I started Healing To You.
As founder and CEO of Healing To You, I still work directly with patients because staying connected to the human side of this work is deeply important to me. Many of the individuals I work with have spent much of their lives in survival mode, carrying deep trauma while simply trying to make it through each day.
💚 Unhoused youth ages 18 to 24 trying to survive while living in their cars, staying in shelters, or sleeping on the streets while navigating trauma, isolation, and mental health struggles.
💚 Families living in domestic violence shelters after making the difficult decision to leave an abusive relationship and rebuild safety and stability for themselves and their children.
💚 Adults carrying complex trauma rooted in childhood abuse, neglect, exploitation, trafficking, and violence while trying to heal from years of surviving unimaginable experiences.
Supporting Healing To You helps expand access to compassionate, trauma-informed medical and mental health care for people who may otherwise go without support during some of the hardest moments of their lives.
Healing To You is raising $25,000 to expand our Access in Motion campaign, bringing trauma-informed medical and mental health care directly to individuals and families who would otherwise go without it. Through partnerships with Human Options, Radiant Futures, Laura’s House, WisePlace, and Orangewood Foundation, we are able to deliver care in trusted community settings where it is safe and accessible.
