I believe today’s youth deserve the tools, support, and guidance needed to navigate life’s challenges with confidence, resilience, and hope. At a time when more than 40% of high school youth report persistent feelings of sadness or hopelessness, organizations like Tilly’s Life Center are more important than ever. TLC creates safe spaces where teens and young adults can develop emotional wellness, life, and leadership skills that positively shape their futures, strengthen families, and build healthier communities. I am proud to support TLC’s mission of empowering young people to realize their value, potential, and ability to thrive.
Tilly's Life Center (TLC) is a transformative nonprofit at the forefront of addressing the urgent mental health crisis faced by today's young people.
Through strategic partnerships with educational institutions and community-based organizations in Southern California, TLC offers its "I Am Me" curriculum, equipping adolescents and young adults with critical life skills to develop a healthy identity and positive mindset, manage emotions, achieve personal and academic goals, foster strong relationships, and make responsible decisions—ultimately setting them on a path toward lasting success and overall well-being.
Since launching its pilot program in 2013, TLC has served more than 27,000 youth through partnerships with schools and youth-serving organizations including youth in treatment at CHOC hospital.
Participants consistently report increased self-awareness, improved communication skills, stronger relationships, and greater confidence in managing their mental health.
