At Pathways to Independence, we walk alongside young women ages 18–35 as they courageously overcome cycles of abuse, poverty, and unhealthy relationships. These are future leaders, parents, professionals, and changemakers. They become empowered, educated contributors to society with every step forward they take.
One pillar of our program is mental wellness. PTI Director of Therapy works tirelessly to ensure every woman is matched with the right therapist and receives timely support in times of crisis, and also lifelong tools to manage stress and triggers.
This mission is deeply personal to me. Having witnessed the impact of severe mental health issues in my own family, I know how critical mental wellness is to living a full, healthy life. That’s why, as Executive Director, I’m “all in” when our clients commit to their healing and growth. Their strength inspires me daily.
You can be part of that transformation.

Together, we can all be superheroes by helping create healthier, safer communities through Pathways to Independence. By supporting our mission, you are helping single young women from disadvantaged backgrounds break the cycle of poverty and abuse through education, therapy, mentoring, housing, and healthcare.
