Pathways To Independence

Michelle's Campaign

Some words from Michelle

For the past nine years, I’ve been a volunteer member of Friends of Pathways, who have been putting on a wonderful annual fundraising event. Every year, we raise the majority of our annual funds through this event, but there are needs beyond what we can raise in one night. I do this volunteer work to help young women in need, and I do this work in honor of my sister, whom I lost too early to a tragic accident. My sister had overcome her struggles in her 20’s, with the help of a similar program. That is why I'm asking for your support in the LOVE IS... campaign. One day of giving!

Pathways to Independence (PTI) has been around for close to 30 years, helping young women who come from traumatic backgrounds and live below the poverty line. We help them thrive by giving them a place to live, university costs, and a car so they can maintain a part-time job while going to school full-time. We give them things like healthcare, mental health care - we step in, as loving parents would, to provide what they need to succeed. Love is... supporting Pathways to Independence. Please join me - no amount is too small. Thank you!

On May 27th, join Pathways to Independence and 22 other nonprofits across Orange County as we unite to raise $350,000 in support of mental wellness and healthy relationships.
